A dual 12-inch passive low-frequency extension cabinet for PA systems where you need more bass output and extension without going to a conventional 18-inch sub configuration. A technically specific choice that suits system designs where controlled, articulate low-end matters as much as raw level.
Two 12-inch JBL drivers in a vented enclosure with low-frequency extension to approximately 40Hz. The dual-12 format provides more cone area than a single driver while maintaining tighter transient response than an 18-inch sub — relevant for music genres where definition in the low end is as important as volume. Requires an external crossover or amplifier DSP to set the correct high-pass point for the accompanying full-range system. Compatible with JBL PD-series loudspeakers and our Linea Research amplifier inventory.
