The SQ-5 delivers 48 input channels with full per-channel gate, compressor, four-band parametric EQ and RTA processing on Allen & Heath's XCVI FPGA engine at 96kHz — under 0.7ms latency with all processing active. 17 motorised faders across 6 layers give rapid, intuitive workflow on a compact surface. 16 local XLR mic/line inputs plus 8 local line inputs with fully recallable preamps, 12 stereo mix buses, 3 stereo matrix outputs and 4 stereo FX buses make it more than capable for complex live music setups including full in-ear monitor rigs. DEEP processing plugin support brings classic outboard emulations directly into the console. dSNAKE port expands to up to 128 × 128 channels via Allen & Heath stagebox for larger productions. 32 × 32 USB audio interface and SQ-Drive direct USB recording built in for multitrack capture and virtual soundcheck. Fully remote controllable via the MixPad iOS and Android app. At 440mm wide the SQ-5 fits comfortably on a standard FOH table and can be rack-mounted for touring — making it equally suited to club nights, festival stages, theatre productions and corporate events across Northamptonshire.
