A high-output three-way bi-amp passive loudspeaker from Martin Audio's professional touring and installation range — a proven, robust cabinet with a heritage in UK club and concert production. The Martin Audio VRS800 is available for passive PA speaker hire across Northamptonshire, the East Midlands and the wider UK through Northants Event Solutions. These cabinets have been upgraded with a replacement B&C 18" 700W LF driver for improved power handling over the original specification.
The VRS800 is the vertical format version of Martin Audio's RS800, sharing identical components and making it fully compatible for mixed RS800/VRS800 arrays where needed. Housing an 18" B&C LF driver (upgraded, 700W), a 12" mid-frequency cone driver and a 1.4" exit titanium diaphragm HF compression driver. Frequency range of 35Hz–18kHz (±3dB) with sensitivity of 106dB (1W/1m) and maximum SPL of 133dB continuous (139dB peak). Bi-amp configuration with active crossover points at 220Hz and 1.5kHz drives LF and MF/HF sections independently for precise power distribution and DSP alignment. 70° horizontal by 40° vertical dispersion. Two NL4 Speakon connectors. Substantial cabinet at 114kg — requires appropriate rigging hardware and personnel for deployment.
